i'm not sure if the place i am in, is home. each hour, each day, each year. i've become a creature of habit. cigarettes and owl like behavior, i have lost myself somewhere. Along the pages of books? Each collecting dust, pages underlined, annotated. Some characters more important then others. I've learned to be in my bare skin, letting my hands run against the skin of my body, the goosebumps on my breast. Waving my arms in the rolling smoke that passes through my fingers, and stains my skin with an all familiar musk. Let us dance! For I am the love child. I'll wear my three dollar vintage pumps, let my dress reach my knees, and my leather jacket hug my curves. I'm real! I'm here! I'm screaming for a revelation of love.

Times have been busy busy busy! I am part of 7 networking sites already but after the holiays I will definitely commit to this blog more then I am, sorry for leaving you all hanging!

lets talk fall fashions

I spent time on trendspotting and style websites, looking through endless magazines, walked through some great stores, observed the people on the streets to find what I believe are the top fall fashions. So I'm going to give you a run down of the top fall fashions and how you can incorporate them in your everyday life.

GRUNGE IS BACK LADIES AND GENTLEMAN!

-Leather has hit runways and in a big way. I've seen this mostly in cropped leather jackets, boots, heels and accessories. Beautifully shown in this William Rast outfit: 023m.jpg

-Plaid has also made a comeback. Marc by Marc Jacobs graced the runway with his beautiful fall collection showing this wonderful plaid dress: 00380m.jpg

WHO SAYS THE EIGHTIES EVER DIED?

-The eighties are making another comeback. Think shoulder pads, shiny, metallic, more leather and party dresses. A wonderful example is Balmain's party dress: 079m.jpg

getting to know your fashionista

Hello loves! This is the first of many posts to come. Thank you all for your ideas & motivation to start up this blog, some wonderful things will be happening. First, I am going to let you get to know me. I am 19 years old and live in Naperville which is a Chicago suburb. I have been sewing since 6th grade and went to Columbia College last year for fashion design. I now attend College Of DuPage, to take my general education classes, then its off to another art school to study fashion merchandising. I have been a free-lance model for about a year now. Fashion basically runs through my veins and being a stylist is one of my ultimate dreams. Some of the things you will be witnessing in this blogs are answers to YOUR questions, updates on new trends and styles, make up and hair trends, and pretty much everything in between.
